Data Acquisition and Control System for Scattering Measurement Facility

This project aims at establishing an automated data acquisition and control system for a planned scattering measurement facility; this involves position data from a positioning system for the scattering object and RF data from a vector network analyzer which must be correlated. The system must be able to control the positioning system as well as the network analyzer for parameters like scan speed and IF bandwidth. The project involves the design, implementation, and testing of the system and lies within the research on scattering of the Electromagnetic Systems Group.
