Wenjun Wang has a master degree in electromagnetic field and microwave technology from Nanjing University, China and a bachelor in electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
At HYPERMAG, Wenjun will focus on development of cryogenic array coils for magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging of the brain metabolism.
The vision is to enable whole-brain hyperpolarized spectroscopic MRI in patients with neurological diseases. This can provide crucial new knowledge for the physicians and neurologists diagnosing and treating devastating diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis.
