Microwave Imaging via Solving Inverse Scattering Problems

On June 1st Professor Xudong Chen from National University of Singapore, Singapore visited the Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) group where he gave a presentation on ”Microwave Imaging via Solving Inverse Scattering Problems”. His research interests are mainly electromagnetic inverse problems. This talk presents numerical methods to solve microwave imaging problem, where the permittivity and conductivity of unknown scatterers are quantitatively reconstructed by solving an ISP.
