New Five-Year Frame Contract for the DTU-ESA Spherical Near-Field Antenna Test Facility
DTU Elektro’s Electromagnetic Systems (EMS) group has achieved a new five-year contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) for the maintenance, development and operation of the DTU-ESA Facility.
The DTU-ESA Facility serves as an external reference laboratory for ESA in performing high-accuracy satellite antenna calibrations and measurements for ESA and ESA prime contractors as well as European academia and industry in general.
The frame contract is a central element in the antenna measurement research activities of the EMS group which include also other ESA projects and DTU Ph.D. projects. For more information, please contact professor Olav Breinbjerg.
