After a first stay in Jan 2017, Ms Mina Bjelogrlic from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérele de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, will again join our group from 21 Aug to 7 Sep 2017.
She has been selected by the COST Action TD1301 on "Development of a European-based Collaborative Network to Accelerate Technological, Clinical and Commercialisation Progress in the Area of Medical Microwave Imaging" (MiMed) for a 2nd Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) to continue and finalize work started during her 1st STSM.
While she was studying the power transmission inside the brain during her first stay, she will focus on the detection and imaging of anomalies during her current stay. The objective of her studies is whether it is possible to detect a haemorrhage using microwave imaging.
