Milestone achievement for DTU ETC building 357

Monday 15 Jun 20
The construction of the new building 357 for the DTU Electromagnetic Test Centre has reached a milestone.

The construction of the new building 357 for the DTU Electromagnetic Test Centre reached a milestone last week with the successful completion of the groundwork. With this foundation in place, the construction of the building walls and roof will now start using prefabricated concrete elements to be delivered and installed before end of July.

In parallel, the planning for the test laboratories in building 357 is also progressing well. Contracts are now being finalized with three different suppliers for advanced antenna and component/circuit test laboratories to be installed from June 2021 for operational use from beginning of 2022.

DTU ETC also encompasses new laboratories in the existing building 353, and this week the installation of absorbers for a radio anechoic chamber to be used for radar scattering measurements will also start.
