The antenna consists of a transmitting and a
receiving bowtie mounted on a common ground
plane. The purpose of the yellow absorbers is
two fold. First, they suppress back radiation
and second, the constitute a resistive loading
that increases the bandwidth of the antenna.

The antenna is measured in our small radio
anechoic chamber.
